1. Purpose:
Badhte Kadam Welfare Society values the trust and generosity of all our donors. This policy outlines the guidelines under which refunds of donations may be considered, ensuring transparency and accountability in our financial practices.
2. Nature of Donations
* All online donations made to Badhte Kadam Welfare Society are “voluntary and non-refundable”.
* Once a donation is received, it is immediately allocated towards our ongoing welfare and development programs, and therefore, cannot ordinarily be returned or transferred.
* Donations made towards specific campaigns or events may be governed by separate terms and conditions.
3. Circumstances for Refund:
While donations are generally non-refundable, a refund may be considered in the following exceptional cases:
* The donation was made “by error”, such as a duplicate transaction or incorrect amount.
* The donor’s bank account was “charged without authorization” due to a technical error.
* The donor provides credible evidence that the donation was made based on “incorrect or misleading information” provided by the Society.
4. Refund Request Procedure:
* Donors must submit a refund request **within 7 (seven) days** of making the donation.
* The request should include proof of donation (transaction ID, date, amount, payment method, etc.) and be sent via email or letter to the contact details below.
* The Society will review the request within three to five days, and if found valid, initiate a refund through the original payment method or, with the donor’s consent, apply the donation to another cause or project.
* The decision of Badhte Kadam Welfare Society on refund requests shall be “final and binding”.
5. Event Fees / Fundraising Purchases (if applicable):
1-Fees paid for events, seminars, or other activities are generally “non-refundable”.
2-Products or services purchased as part of a fundraising campaign will follow the specific return/refund policy applicable to that campaign.
